At the core of this curriculum is the career training, in which students choose a special trade to study. While training for a career, Job Corps students are also encouraged to earn a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (GED). After completing a trade and earning a GED, students are eligible for Placement services, including advanced training, military placement and permanent employment.
