NONPROFIT Capacity Builders
In December the Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation held an
introductory session for nonprofit organizations in Muhlenberg County. Session III – Resource and Fund Development:
Focus on Grant Writing will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on
Thursday, March 11th and repeated from 8:30 – 10 a.m. on
Friday, March 12th at the UK Cooperative Extension office in
Powderly. For more information, contact Lindsey Ransdell at

March Chamber of Commerce Membership Meeting
The March Chamber of Commerce meeting will be this Thursday, March 11th at noon at the Central City Convention Center in the old gym. Since this will be our candidates forum, we encourage everyone to come. We will begin serving lunch at 11:45 so that we can start the program by 12:15. We are expecting a good crowd, and are trying to make plans to accommodate everyone. If you know how many are planning on attending from your business or organization, please reply to this email with a number to help ensure that we have adequate seating.
