| Chamber Home > Membership > Join the Chamber Join us as a Member of the 2009 Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce! This is your invitation to be a part of the continuing effort “....to develop, enhance, and maintain a viable business climate in Muhlenberg County, and to provide leadership for the economic growth, educational development, and a better quality of life.” (Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement). By joining more than 200 other local individuals and businesses as members of the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce, you give the added support in pursuit of that goal and mission. The citizens and business community of our county made the bold and historic decision in 2005 to build a more effective Chamber of Commerce that would unite our best efforts to achieve our economic development goals. Since the 2006 inaugural year, your “Greater Chamber…” has been actively involved in the pursuit of these goals with membership meetings that included state officials such as former Governor Ernie Fletcher and Lt. Governor Steve Pence, as well as Agriculture Secretary Richie Farmer and State Chamber of Commerce President David Atkinson, just to name few. Your Membership investment in the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce has many benefits, including: · Networking opportunities at our monthly Chamber meetings, held the second Thursday of each month at 12 noon, as well as other special events. · Information about happenings affecting the business community through our monthly newsletter and the Chamber website. · Inclusion on the www.MuhlenbergChamber.org website as well as printed directory. · Access to a growing variety of business development resources available through the Chamber. · Being part of a unified voice in local and state legislative issues affecting Kentucky businesses and individuals. · Your opportunity to bring your own unique talents and ideas to our organization. Our Membership Dues structure is based generally on staff size. To determine what your dues amount would be, please reference the enclosed chart detailing the levels of a Sustaining Membership. While most members will make the Sustaining Membership commitment, many choose to be one of the “Business Champion” members by making a Bronze ($750), Gold ($1,000) or Platinum ($1,500) level commitment. If you choose to join and are similarly led to voluntarily increase your level of support, we encourage your enhanced investment.
